Achill Surf & Adventure Centre. Our residential activity Adventure Centre offers diverse fun packed outdoor activities for everyone. Cycling, climbing, summer camps, coasteering, kayaking tours, sea kayaking, team building, surf lessons and surf camps. Our adventure centre is set among some of the most breath taking landscapes you will find around the Irish coastline. All of our adventure activities are designed to further participants knowledge. To develop skills while having great fun. Our ethos is ‘Adventure in a safe natural environment’. In relation to school tours, we offer comprehensive outdoor educational opportunities. These are aimed at Primary and Secondary schools. We provide many diverse activities and facilities. Cycling, climbing, summer camps, coasteering, sea kayaking, kayaking and surfing.
As well as the opportunity to enjoy and experience new activities our staff team understand the personal and social educational learning opportunities that can be gained through the outdoors.

Outdoor Activities On Achill Island.
Located off the West coast of Co Mayo, Achill Island is Irelands largest Island.
The stunning island scenery is characterised by steep mountains, rolling peat low lands, sandy shorelines and extensive sea cliffs. The Island is connected to the mainland at Achill Sound by the Michael Davitt bridge. Originally built in 1886. Achill Island has numerous Blue flag beaches. The most famous of these located at Keem Bay and Keel stand. The island has a stable population of 2700. In the summer months Achill is a popular destination for domestic and international tourists.
